This week is full of SOUP. We love soup. I'm making soup at lunchtimes too, so we'll be eating soup quite a bit, and loving it! I need to try out some new recipes so I have a recipe to post each Saturday. I am looking at some that look really yummy. And I will be trying some new bread recipes to accompany each one too. I will post results with each soup review. It has been fun to taste "tried and true" recipes several of you have linked. Ah, Autumn...
Tuesday is Election day. I will be watching the news and being online with two of my boys in Jr. High and High School. We will be watching how the polls compare with what actually happens. We are going to want some fun food. Sigh. Can't wait til it's over... God Bless America

Saturday: French Dips with grilled mushrooms and onions, on homemade buns topped with jack cheese
Sunday: Adaptation of this recipe: Chalupa with fixins

I don't know if I will be able to watch it...but I probaly will take little peeks here and there...just want to know the outcome and a box of kleenex if my guy doesn't win!

Your meals always sound so wonderful. I wish I had the desire to be adventurous in the kitchen as you do. I will just watch from where I sit and hopefully gain some of your wisdom. So sorry to have missed you at church yesterday. We really need to work on that.
