Potential

Please scroll down and turn off my tunes before playing this.

And imagine, this very issue is the main issue that prevented me from voting for the First Black American for President. I am very sad not to have been able to vote for this historic and long- awaited moment.

Because of the policies he has promised to effect, many innocent lives will be lost to abortion. Just hours after taking office the President signed the "Mexico City Policy", which forces me to give money toward something which I find sickening and diabolical.

God bless Ann Dunham for working so hard for her child. She never knew that her son would one day become the President of the United States.

Speak up for those who are weakest among us, who have no voice. It impacts us all.

(For some reason, for this post, you have to click on the post title and bring up only this post to make or see comments. I have no idea why. Sorry for the inconvenience.)

I talked about this in this post as well.

What a powerful video, one I think everyone pro-life and pro-choice (or should I say "no-choice") should watch.

Yes, let's keep speaking for those who were not given a choice to live.

I know how you feel. I felt the same way after having to pay for that sickening and diabolical war in Iraq. Hopefully more people will wake up and start using birth control instead of abortion. Too many people on this earth ;-)

I would have totally voted for the first black man president - if I didn't so vehemently disagree with ALL of his policies.

Happy to say that I voted for him. I'm sorry to tell you that your tax $$ has been going towards abortion assistance (Planned Parenthood programs) for quite some time now...this is nothing new, even under the previous administration. My curiosity wonders how you voted with the 2 frontrunning candidates have previously voted for these assistence programs in the past.?
BTW..I'm pro-life.

Anon Commenters,

I am aware that tax dollars being spent on abortion is not a new thing. When I vote, I consider my options and choose the candidate that most closely reflects my values in their voting record. This can be found easily (and factually)online. I don't leave it to anyone else to tell me how someone voted on an issue that is important to me.

I believe in compassion for all. It sounds like you do too, though we may have different perspectives on what that means. We don't get to make these laws or choices, but we have our votes and our voices.

Keep being vocal about your convictions. How can we ask each other to do any less?
